Yes. During the donation flow, you may enter a dedication or Niyyah in memory of or on behalf of a parent, family member, or loved one. This intention is recorded privately with your contribution.

We accept contributions in NGN (Nigerian Naira), GBP (£ British Pounds), and USD ($ US Dollars). All foreign currency gifts are converted transparently at prevailing exchange rates and logged on the project escrow record.

Yes. An automated digital receipt containing your unique transaction reference code, project details, currency amount, and date is sent immediately to your email address upon payment confirmation.

No. Masajid Project does not charge masajid for technical assessments, vendor management, or project execution. All supported interventions are funded entirely through crowdsourced Sadaqah Jariyah.

We focus on practical, moderate mosque needs: energy efficient LED lighting, solar power backup, sound system upgrades, carpet deep cleaning & sanitation, Qur'ans & book storage, security equipment, and minor facility repairs.

No work commences without formal written consent from the Imam and executive committee of the mosque. Our field team meets directly with mosque leadership before listing any project.

Smaller interventions (lighting or carpet deep cleaning) are typically executed within 7 to 14 days after funding completion. Solar power or sound system upgrades take between 2 to 4 weeks.

After execution, high-resolution before/after photographs and supplier invoices are published publicly. The project then enters a 12-month monitoring cycle where our field team conducts check-ins at 3, 6, and 12 months.

No. To maintain complete financial integrity, Masajid Project never disburses unverified cash. Payments are transferred directly to verified material suppliers, electricians, and contractors upon presentation of audited invoices.

Financial management is overseen by our Finance & Alabi Saheed under the governance of the Board of Trustees. Quarterly financial audits are published publicly on our Transparency Dashboard.

No. Masajid Project accepts voluntary Sadaqah only and does not accept Zakat. Zakat has specific jurisprudence guidelines for eligible human recipients. Mosque physical infrastructure falls under Sadaqah Jariyah.

Any surplus funds are handled transparently: they are either retained for a follow-up maintenance reserve at the same mosque or transferred to the General Sadaqah Jariyah Fund to support the next urgent masjid need.

Our procurement policy requires at least 3 competitive quotations for any technical procurement over ₦100,000. Vendors are evaluated on material quality, pricing, delivery speed, and local warranty commitments.
