Terms of Initiative

Masajid Project operates exclusively as a structured crowdfunding and project management initiative for Sadaqah Jariyah. We connect willing donors with verified, practical maintenance needs in masajid. The platform does not function as a general financial intermediary or commercial contractor.

All contributions designated for specific listed projects are strictly restricted to the procurement of materials, equipment, and verified labor for that individual project. General Sadaqah Jariyah Fund contributions are allocated transparently to approved active projects with urgent funding gaps.

Before publication, every nominated mosque intervention must pass a 4-point verification process: (a) physical site audit by our field team, (b) technical cost estimate validation, (c) written approval from the mosque committee, and (d) safety compliance check.

To uphold 100% financial integrity, project funds are never handed over as cash to mosque leadership or unverified individuals. Payments are disbursed directly to verified material vendors, electricians, plumbers, and solar technicians upon presentation of itemized invoices.

Our procurement policy mandates securing at least 3 competitive quotations for any technical procurement over ₦100,000. Vendors are selected based on material durability, local warranty terms, pricing competitiveness, and past performance.

By submitting a mosque or contributing to a project, participants consent to the public publication of non-sensitive before/after photographs, vendor invoice references, and completion logs on our public Transparency Dashboard.

Any minor surplus funds remaining after project completion are retained transparently within the general Sadaqah Jariyah pool to fund urgent maintenance repairs or 12-month follow-up check-ins across supported masajid.

These terms are reviewed annually by the Board of Trustees and Advisory Committee to ensure compliance with legal regulations and Islamic charitable principles. For governance enquiries:
